One evening, one familiar view
This workshop focuses on the short interval when lamps are bright and the sky still carries color. Start with a fixed composition, then make a sequence of exposures as the balance changes.
What is included
You get a scouting checklist, a step-by-step exposure exercise, and a worksheet for comparing three frames. Use a camera with manual shutter control and a tripod. A phone with suitable manual controls can also be used for the exercise.
What to bring
Choose a safe public location, bring a warm layer, and leave space around your tripod. Make a note of your route home before darkness. This is a self-guided workshop with no live session or individual feedback.
Read the free sample lesson for the opening exercise. This demo checkout does not charge or deliver a workshop.
